Visions Credit Staff visited our office to make a donation of much needed last week. Some of the items donated are some of our most requested items; deodorant, laundry detergent and bean bags for our Reading Clinic program. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate Sarah and her colleagues for visiting us!

Thank you, Wellwood Middle School, for partnering with Rise Above Poverty this academic year. The large and enthusiastic student participation humbled us.

The teamwork, dedication, and generosity of Wellwood Middle School will ease some of the challenges faced by students in the Syracuse City School District.
The Rise Above Poverty Reading Clinic is a free reading program for third and fourth graders. If you know a student who could benefit from additional help with their reading, encourage their parents to register them in our program today.
The Summer program will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.
Our mission is simple: "Help Students Read to Succeed". Our goal is to help struggling students become proficient and reading at grade level. We also want to help students develop a love of reading and have a greater desire to read on their own.
