Getting Winter Coats just in time

We received a call this week from a caseworker from one of our schools asking if we could collect gently used coats for individuals in the community. I asked her if we could help her by providing her with new coats to help those in need. So before Christmas break, we were able to provide 140 individuals at four schools with new winter coats in time for Christmas and before the colder temperatures arrive. When we meet with school officials they were amazed that we were able to meet their requests so quickly! We shared with them that we purchased coats throughout the year and our incredible community of donors supplement our inventory by buying coats as well.

So, because of your continuous support we are able to provide the necessary resource for students to attend school during the harsh winter months.

Because of your kindness and generously your gifts and financial donations all on short notice, nevertheless, will help two families experience Christmas this year.

Today as I delivered gifts to Brighton Academy the caseworker couldn't believe the number of gifts we collected for the two families {Eight & Five kids respectively}. Her response was ”OHHHHH MYYYYY Gosh!!!! You are unbelievable!!!:) I wasn't sure...I knew I had asked too late...and didn't want to ask you again, I can’t believe you have gifts for each child.”

I told her it's our incredible community of supporters who help us, help others!

t has come to our attention that we have two families who are struggling this holiday season. This post is for a second family with five (5) youths.

2-year-old girl- 3T/4T she likes baby shark and cocomelon

4-year-old girl size 5/6 kids, likes barbies

6-year-old girl- size 6, likes baby dolls and barbies

A 6-year-old boy- size 7/8 kids, likes nerf games, legos

11-year-old girl- size 3 juniors, likes drawing and art supplies
